Reflection about an interview 

On Sunday 26^th February 2012, at the independent research center, Mr. Hedley managed an interview with his interviewers Ahmed and Mohamed.

Mr. Hedley asked Saleh to introduce himself. He gave a good introduction about himself, graduated from HCT with a bachelor degree in marketing with a GPA of 3.85.

Ahmed asked Saleh about his outside interests and Saleh said that he liked playing football with his friends not in an official club. Animal welfare is another interest for Saleh because he feels that they are not treated well.

Mohamed asked Saleh about working times and Saleh never minded about anytime except the weekends. Also he said that he can work under pressure and meet deadlines. Then Mohamed asked Saleh about his strength and Saleh said that commitment and passion are his greatest strength.

Finally Saleh asked if the company has a training program and Mohamed answered yes there is a training program for about 6 months

Mr. Hedley thanked Saleh and closed the interview.

Reflection about an interview

On Sunday 26^th February 2012 at the independent research center, Mr. Hedley managed an interview with his interviewers, Ahmed and Mohamed.

They interviewed Yousef who is applying for a job as a manager of operations in one of the ADNOC companies (Borouge).

Mr. Hedley began the interview by asking Yousef to introduce himself. Yousef gave the interviewers a short good introduction about himself and his work experience. Straightly, Ahmed asked Yousef about his greatest strength and weakness; Yousef said that he likes challenges and he has got a lot of leadership skills, but about the weakness he said that he does not like to work with careless or lazy people.

After that Mohamed asked Yousef why should I hire you? Yousef said because of my rich experience and my abilities to do this job, Yousef highlighted that he was a supervisor and he used to build teams and improve the employees.

Finally Yousef asked who would I work with directly, Ahmed answered that Yousef will be working with him.

Mr. Hedley ended the interview and told Yousef that they will call him in about 1 week.

On Sunday 26^th February 2012, and at the independent research center, Mr. Hedley managed an interview with his interviewers Ahmed and Mohamed.

They interviewed Saleh who is applying for a job as a section head in oil operation with ADNOC.

Ahmed asked Saleh to introduce himself and Saleh gave a good introduction about himself. Ahmed asked for how long have you been at work? Saleh said 10 years. And about the last position Saleh said that he was a supervisor in the oil operation sector. Ahmed wondered why Saleh wanted this job exactly at this company; Saleh said because of the challenges.

Mohamed started his questions by asking about the greatest strength, Saleh said that he is a great motivator and a problem solver. And about the greatest weakness, Saleh feels that he is focusing too much on small details which may affect the serious problem. Saleh thinks the interviewers should hire him because of his ability and his experience.

At the end, Saleh asked when he will start working. And Ahmed answered about 1-2 months.

Mr. Hedley thanked Saleh and closed the interview

Reflection about an interview

On Sunday 19^th February 2012, and at the independent research center, Mr. Hedley managed an interview with his interviewers Omar and Mohamed Abdulla.

They interviewed Abdulaziz Faez who is applying for a job as a mechanical engineer. Mr. Hedley asked him at the very beginning to introduce himself, and Abdulaziz gave short and good information about himself.

Mohamed started asking about the qualifications. Abdulaziz said that he is a student in HCT and his GPA is 3.5. After that Mohamed asked Abdulaziz where do you see yourself in three years? In a very important position. Mohamed asked if Abdulaziz can work under pressure or night shifts or even weekends; he said he never minded about this.

Omar asked Abdulaziz a few more questions. Have you ever heard anything negative about the company? Abdulaziz said nothing except the place of the factory. Omar asked him about the salary that he is expecting, and Abdulaziz said that it’s not important.

At the end Abdulaziz asked about his responsibilities and the opportunity of advancement. The interviewers said that he will be responsible for the mechanical machines and the advancement depends on his work, attendance, and annual reports.

Mr. Hedley said: thank you Abdulaziz we will be in touch with you in a few days.
